The building catches your eye as soon as you arrive. The two bodies of the building are tilted in relation to each other. The atrium, where the entrance is located in the narrow end, opens up towards the beholder and provides a surprising perspective.
The new stock terminal for DSV in Germany is clad in steel sandwich panels that reflect the surroundings and the light, having been specially developed in collaboration between DSV and ak83. The two buildings are connected by the black, elongated atrium, whilst the main flight of stairs forms a continuous path up through the building, in which landings on each floor act as walkways that bind the two buildings together to a single unit and create a natural connection between the floors..
