Just 100 metres from the beach you find the new spa resort in the old fishing village. It has been designed in line with the district plan’s requirements concerning building style and constructed as a main building with utilisation of the garret, basement and adjacent Building.
The brickwork in the main building is smooth-finished and the roof has roofing felt and strip cover, in addition to wooden-clad attic dormers. The gardens have a pool, terrace and access to a rooftop terrace.
The spa resort is a rebuild of the former youth club building in Hornbæk, which has now been redeveloped with a wellness attraction that has attracted international attention and which it is hoped can put the former beach town back on the map.
