Competition entries for senior care center at Holbæk habour. The intention of the project is to make the best possible framework for an active and social life as a senior. The access to physical activity, common dining area and a close connection to nature are important parameters for fellowship and wellbeing.
The 2 building blocks fit into the overall building structure and are open towards the harbour. The residentials have bay windows, which are led to the floor and give the residentials a beautiful framing and connection to the water and the green garden area. This gives light and air to the living rooms as well as the bay windows give character and rhythm to the house front.
