With its optimum location at the motorway exit near Landskrona S, DSV’s enormous transport and logistics terminal has become a landmark for the area. The project was designed to gather together DSV’s activities within its three divisions – DSV Road, DSV Air & Sea and DSV Solutions – and has now been realised as the largest traffic centre of its kind in Northern Europe, with more than 100,000 m2 of buildings, in addition to 130,000 m2 of paved areas surrounding the facility. The facility can handle up to 500 trucks per day.
The project is an example of how a large-scale facility can be executed with well thought-out, architect-designed solutions and how a resource-conscious mentality can optimise project economy.
