The extension has provided shop floor space of 38,000 m2 in two storeys that can accommodate 90 shops and an extension to the car parking area of 25,000 m2 – or almost 1,100 cars – split between several storeys. Finally, the basement area has been expanded by 5,000 square metres.
RO’s Torv has thereby become Denmark’s third-largest shopping centre, with a different and highly imaginative approach to the experience value in the development. RO’s Torv has been carefully considered and thoroughly prepared down to almost every last detail thanks to close collaboration with experts and consultants, not least Banedanmark; the railway is the shopping centre’s nearest neighbour, and there is just one centimetre separating them!
