A quarter moon where the rooms surround a southwest-facing terrace

Close to the coast in Gilleleje, this quarter moon-shaped villa has been constructed. The quarter moon forms one-sixth of a circle and houses the more enclosed rooms such as the study, toilet, bathroom, utility room, and guest room in the outer shell, while the living room, kitchen, and bedroom are placed in the inner core, which surrounds the southwest-facing terrace.

The outer shell of the house is built with brick walls plastered with lime mortar, while the gables are clad with rough-sawn larch boards. The inner core opens towards the terrace with large window sections.
