In 2018, the pharmaceutical company Nomeco acquired a new warehouse, a logistics center with administration for the international pharmaceutical industry in the Nordic region. Nomeco's fully automatic buildings are the size of three football pitches and can accommodate more than 50,000 pallets. The buildings and later the operation of the medicine warehouse will in the first stage move almost 170 jobs to Køge.
