Resource-conscious thinking

PostNord has built a new TPL warehouse (third party logistics) and a new package and freight terminal (HUB) at Køge. The warehouse becomes one of Denmark's largest TPL units measured on pallet and storage capacity. PostNord increases its inventory capacity by 50% and strengthens Danish e-commerce significantly.
The extensive construction is being built at the Scandinavian Transport Center (STC) at Køge with the investment bank Pareto Securities as the developer and landlord. STC's unique location has made it one of the country's strongest growing business areas.

There is worked to get aesthetics and functionality to play together, while resource-conscious thinking has optimized the construction's economy.
The facade of the 31,000 sqm. TPL warehouse is a combination of exposed concrete elements and anthracite gray steel sandwich panels. An outline marks the administration on the first floor, while vertical glass panels from floor to roof help to divide the long building.
